A place where life, health, and spirituality meet.
Living the life refers to living your life in a way that benefits your spiritual, mental, and physical health. When any of these areas are lacking, you compensate by over-doing it in areas where you are stronger, until your body is thrown completely out of balance by exhaustion. If you've ever felt ill (and who hasn't?) you know how it feels to be desperately in need of healing...and fast!
What works to cure your physical ailments might not work for someone else, that much is true. And while your views on faith might be different than mine, or your culture might have other methods of handling relationship conflicts, we all have the same basic needs: to be loved and understood. Once those conditions are met, there is nothing else that matters. With that in mind, I'd like to share with you my reasons in providing this site as a resource for optimal living.
I have always been a Christian, but grew up in a mixed environment where religion was optional. I learned to be accepting of all people from all walks of life, while taking note of the emptiness that resided in the lives of many atheists and agnostics I knew. Believe it or not, without the difficulties I had in freely worshipping God, I would never have developed my spiritual walk. I held off being swayed one way or another until there was no way I could deny the Lord's existence. I truly believe all people should at least once in their lives give God a try. You are never disappointed, when you are really seeking to know His Truth! That much I know, because I've seen many answers to prayer that would have otherwise been impossible for man to handle alone, and I have witnessed a few supernatural events that cannot be described as anything other than encounters with God.
I have also had several common and uncommon mental and physical ailments, and my life has been touched by loved ones and friends who have suffered similarly and in other ways. I believe learning from others is a powerful tool, not always utilized because of the human mentality of "I can do it myself". But, as pride goes before a fall, wisdom is obtained in the moment of greatest need. Therefore, this site is where you can become empowered through reading the views and experiences shared by others. While it is my life-goal to write in such a way that would benefit you, and ultimately the Lord, I cannot take credit for all that you read on here. I have been humbly led to several other remarkable men and women who also share their stories of faith, perseverence, pain, instruction, and happiness.
It is my prayer that even if you have no desire to be part of an organized body of faith, please keep an open mind, and let there be at least one article you might read here that can apply to a situation you are dealing with in your life right now. If you don't want to read any faith articles, that's fine by me. If you only want to know ways to improve communication with your peers, I won't be offended. And if you're trying to find the answer on what is the best medicine for your ailments, by all means read only what applies to you. While I am influenced by my belief in God, I also have opinions about different topics not because of my spirituality, but sometimes in spite of it, realizing that not everything in this lifetime is answered by religion. There are just some times where you use common sense. Whatever the case, may what you read challenge you to delve into why you believe what you do, so that you are able to stand sure in your convictions.
So please, browse through the ever-growing collection I've compiled for you and I hope you find it useful in helping you live the life, whatever direction that might take you. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated!
Peace and blessings for a prosperous and stress-free life,
~Natasha~
